Four Rustlers among those named 2022-23 CCAA Academic All-Canadians
The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce the 2022-23 CCAA Academic All-Canadian award recipients. This year, 246 student-athletes have achieved combined excellence in collegiate athletics and academics.
The CCAA Academic All-Canadian award, presented by Brandnew Athlete, is the CCAA's most prestigious student-athlete honour, epitomizing a commitment to academic success and athletic achievement.
As part of the partnership, CCAA Academic All-Canadians receive complimentary access to the Brandnew Elite Athlete Transformation Program.
The CCAA would like to thank Brandnew for the opportunity to enrich the lives of student-athletes with their revolutionary learning platform that focuses on the personal development of elite athletes.
Remi Pelletier of the Humber Hawks, a 2021-22 CCAA Academic All-Canadian, noted that the Brandnew Program helped her discover that the skills she developed as an athlete can be applied to other facets of her life.
"Thanks to Brandnew I am now aware of my personal strengths, and my 'personal' why," said Pelletier. "I know how to brand and market myself and my skills, but more importantly, I know who I am."
In addition, the CCAA Academic All-Canadian Recognition Award is presented each year to the institution with the most student-athlete award recipients. For the third straight season, Humber College led the CCAA with 23 recipients.
Congratulations to our Lakeland Rustlers recepients!
